Here are two views from the foyer of the photo museum. On the right is an overall view. On the left is an entrance to one of the exhibits. The exhibits are in the rooms of the ancient Tabhane (guesthouse) of the complex. You can tell doors were not very large back in the 16th century. Either people were smaller or they did not mind bending down. The sign on the left warns current visitors about the low doors.

So as to disembark from the boat there is a series of platforms and steps to negotiate, the level varies due to the tide.
The dilapidated building was once a boathouse, but it was damaged in a bad storm in 2014, and will eventually be demolished.

It is a haven for birds, bats and insects, and apart from the occasional seal, there are no mammals on the island.
