Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken from a quiet place just about 10 minutes' walk from our house, on the edge of Lanark.

A bit of nomenclature required here: the "Stey Brae" is a steep hill and the small river in the valley crossing the picture is called the Mouse Water pronounced "Moose" and the road on the left goes from Lanark to Kilncadzow pronounced "Kil-cay-gee" by the locals.

Picture taken in RAW, converted with RawShooter Essentials, cropped, sharpened and framed.
