Photographer's Note

Whilst wandering around Gamlastan in Stockholm, I spotted this attractive little square which wouldn't look out of place in Warsaw or Cracow. Kornhamnstorg (Grain Harbour Square) is the name of this spot. The statue often gets mistaken for William Tell, but it's of a local hero Engelbrekt Engelbrektsson who defied the powerful Kalmar union under king Eric of Pomerania in 1434. (King of Sweden (1396–1434, 1436–39 AD). Notice the 2 year gap.
