Photographer's Note

I never had a so awful weather on this last trip to thailand. 3 weeks of deep cloudy sky and rain, due to the presence of a cyclone over the Bangladesh.
This is a representative shot...

Taken in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, on the Dolphin bay beach near Pranburi, just 40 mins south of famous Hua Hin, between Khao Sam Roy Yot mounts and the Siam Gulf of Thailand.

The spot is great, the beach is 5km long, with small rough cut mounts (Khao SamRoy Yot meaning 300 peaks mountains) along Birman border, falling to the sea on the opposite side, no huge cities around but Hua Hin, PranBuri and Chumphon.
The province contains the narrowest part of Thailand - directly south of the capital it is just 13 kilometers from the coast of the Gulf of Thailand to the border with Myanmar.
It is also the location of Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park which was the first coastal national park of Thailand.
