Photographer's Note

The main goal of my whole Spanish journey was to sea Guggenheim Museum, but Bilbao has more to offer. There is lovely promenade along the river Nervion from museum to the old part of the city - Casco Viejo. On the way one can see beautiful Calatrava footbridge.

Zubizuri bridge, also known as the Calatrava Bridge after the architect who built it, it is an arched structure, white and slender, resembling a sailboat ten metres above the river. Its glass surface has generated much controversy (the bridge came to be called the morrazos, or ‘walloping walkway’ because of the slips and falls that people continually suffered), so today what you walk on is a non-slip mat. It joins Uribitarte to the Campo Volantín and, despite the controversy that has always accompanied it, the bridge is one of the symbols of the city.

I will upload two other views as Workshops. What would you choose as the main upload? I couldn't decide what I like best.

I like also this view.
