Faneuil Hall

Another photo of one of the older buildings in the old centre of Boston. This is Faneuil Hall, which has been a marketplace and meeting hall since 1743. Many speeches were held here by men who advocated American independence, including Samuel Adams, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States, whose statue can be seen on the square in front of the Hall. On the right hand side, you can see the 496ft/151m tall Custom House Tower.
