I had been in the area back in 2014, but it was not enough. I had to go back there and travel along Ruta 7 the way I wanted to... pulling over as many times as I wanted and needed to take lots of pictures of that Wonderful Road!

Although almost half of it was once under water, the Netherlands is one of the most urbanized – and densely populated – nations on earth, with a huge range of places to visit packed into a relatively small area. Its fertile, pancake-flat landscape is gridded with drainage ditches and canals, beneath huge open skies, while the country’s towns and villages are often pristine and unchanged places of gabled townhouses, pretty canals and church spires.

In this theme I would like to group all photos of the Infinity Bridge presented by me on TrekEarth.

For this group theme, I had in mind street scenes in which pedestrians are seen in front of compelling backdrops — of posters and murals with models that seem to step out and communicate with the pedestrians. Among friends on Trekearth, Claude Simonin (Clodo) is a master at catching such scenes. I'll start out with a few of my own photos, and integrate the photos of others into the collection. Please, feel free to add.
