- Intro
- Born 1955 at Pirmasens and still living here I saw the town changing from a flourishing one to one that holds nearly every negative record in sad statistics.
In the 1980-ies I became a rivet-counting anorak. That means I took lots of photos of dirty black steam locomotives. Often I looked at not so perfect photos and thought about my failures when I did them. Bearing the results in mind I went to the next photo shooting and got slightly better prints afterward.
Nowadays digital photographing gives you a huge amount of data you can manipulate at your PC. But you loose the discussions about colors, brightness, contrast, composition at the counter where you used to collect your prints. Today you do it at web sites like this. - Member Since
