Photographer's Note

It was 11:30 at night in the fascinating Times Square area of the Big Apple and I was like the proverbial kid in a candy store looking at all of the lights and activity of the most energetic place that I have ever visited. Like this street vendor putting away his artwork, my wife was tired and was ready to go back to the hotel, but I was just getting warmed up. What a dazzling display of lights and activity Times Square was. This photo shows about 50 things going on at the same time. I was in "photographer's heaven". We left to go to back to the subway station because our daily transportation pass was ready to expire at midnight. I feel just at home here as I do in a wilderness area. "Variety is the Spice of Life"!
