The kingdom from Sigiriya, a photo from Central, South

Photographer's Note

The tale tells that from here a king watch his kingdom in the past. This king has lost a war and all his palace has been destroyed,...but not the view. This little monkey show us that,...may be animals feel great, watching greats landscapes. I don't know,...but in any case, I hope, one day you will can climb this rock of Sigiriya and watch this view. If you don't can I hope you enjoy yourself with this one and the others pictures that I have about this region.

Je l'aime bien celle-ci car elle est pleine de liberté, elle donne envie de partir jusqu'à cet horizon... Je reste spectateur comme ce singe, d'ailleurs me voilà dans son royaume...

Bonsoir Javier,

Excellente vue du paysage, mais ce que j'apprécie le plus, c'est d'avoir intégré le roi à cette image. On lui a pris son royaume il y a des milliers d'années, mais il attend toujours, simplement assis à regarder. Cette image est très symbolique, et techniquement, elle est réussie. Merci pour ce partage.

Great capture. Wonderful composition. Good shallow DOF. It lifts the monkey from the b/g. Great sharpness and colour also. Very well done.

J aime bien, le point de vue est tres sympa (malgre cette tour radio dans la foret) et surtout superbe premier plan avec ce sing dans la couleur de la fourrure repond parfaitement a celle du petit mur. Ca apporte beaucoup a l impact de ce premier plan.
Bonne idee d avoir travailler avec un diaphragme ouvert pour bien detacher ce premier plan et le rendre plus lisible.

Doncs té una vista privilegiada el sr.mico, 10nidoret!!
Bones Xavier, m'encanta aquesta fotografia, porto estona mirant-la i és una passada. Cada cop vas descobrint nous detalls i elements. Saps què vol dir això? QEUCE (que és una composició excel.lent), amb el mico en primer pla i que alhora ens mostra el paisatge.
Els colors naturals, nets, perfectes.
