Photographer's Note

Though leaves are many, the root is one;
Through all the lying days of my youth
I swayed my leaves and flowers in the sun;
Now I may wither into the truth.

W.B. Yeats

This lady is said to be 108 years old. I chatted with her for a while and asked for permission to take her photo although she didn't seem to understand what I was talking about. She is so fragile, so thin and so small that she actually looks like a small child. One moment her face lit up with a youthful smile, next she seemed oblivious, deep in thought and sadness.
