Photographer's Note

More than one year ago I posted the northernmost dragon tree in the world, somewhere on the 39 parallel.

Located a few miles south from the 38 parallel, the southernmost adult dragon blood tree.
Dracaena draco, the symbol of the macaronesian trees, one of the symbols of the Garden of Eden.

The northermost dragon blood tree stands on an island. This one, a few kilometers from the ocean, stands on a climate island, the absolute extreme possible location:
- to the north, further away from the ocean, minimum temperatures in winter would be too low;
- to the south, closer to the Victoria coast, temperatures in summer would be too low.
