Photographer's Note

Here is a shot from the Beaune wine museum, in Burgundy, center of France.

Beaune is famous for its Hospices de Beaune wine auction, a charity sale which occures each late November. The Hospices themselves are a great place to visit with lovely colorful roofs but the whole city too has many wealthy buildings to visit.

Other interesting places to visit are the cellar of the various names places and producers with their magic atmosphere made of wood, glass, old stones and wine tasting.

Here I made a shot of one of the very first bottles I tasted during the tour in the cellar (18 different ones...). Each bottle to taste was presented upon a barrel with a candle and we just had to fill our taste-vin – this little cup made of metal – and tried the various prestigious wines of the area.

I recropped a little the original picture, adjusted levels to enlighten a little bit and applied USM.
