Photographer's Note
Just a color fresco – isn’t it?
Not a new one….
Actually it’s a 1600 years old panting on a wall of a natural fortress that served as unbeatable fortress for young prince in his war against his older brother.
The panting was out in hostile climate (rain and wind) from the 5th century, and it’s still a magnificent fresco.

I find the setting of Sigiria as well as the stories around it to be something very unusual!
Picture is good... but I give the points mainly due to the subject!

I was in Sri Lanka last Feb and visited Sigirya and I think I remember seeing this fresco. It was in a cave which was reached by a spiral stairway and where no flash photography was allowed. Your image appears to have been taken with a flash, or else it has been brought to life through PS.
