Photographer's Note

This is the 22nd photograph from my trip to Turkey.

Trekking lasted 3 weeks and its route includes all the most interesting places in Turkey:

Istanbul - Izmir - Selcuk - Efez - Dilek National Park - Pammukale - Fethiye - Saklikent Gorge - Olu Deniz - Antalya - Termessos - Kapadokya - Istanbul.

Pammukkale was one of our main places to be visited so it was next stop after having a great time in Dilek National Park and Ephesus.

As Selcuk and "Jimmy`s Place" (we highly recommend it) was still our place to sleep we just bought return ticket for a bus and spent the whole day in this amazing white&blue world.

Pammukkale is well known for its ruins, but more for its white calcium ridged pools on one side of the mountain. These calcium shapes look more like an ice and snow if you don`t bother the green grass around :-)

Taken with 10d, wide angle lens and tripod.

Hope you like it!
