Photographer's Note

Greetings all.

This picture was taken along St. Leonard creek in Lusby Maryland. The day was growing long and time began to slip beyond the far trees. Although still quite bright out, time began to drift as the arch of the sun started to fall. Having the chance to stick ones feet into the warm water can hold back the onslaught of cool weather for a little moment in time.

I remember when summer vacation was a reality...when I was young. I can still feel the excitement as the days grew till the bell in class sounded for the last time...till next year. It's a wonderful feeling; being a child and expecting the astounding things that life holds for you in the future.

Maybe the feeling of immortality arose in the days of summer vacation; what could be wrong with this world? It all slows to a creep. The days are long and nothing but time stares into our faces. Still, life has to form a circle, again I look at my tail and pursue with great abandon.
