Photographer's Note

Iguaçú Falls (Iguassu or Iguazu)are located in borderline Brazil and Argentina. It has around 275 falls, most of them are located in Argentinian side.Iguaçú river comes from the first Hight plateau near Curitiba city and after thousand kilometers it founds this deep abyss created millions of years ago during a volcanic explosion.Guarany Indians called these falls Iguaçu (Big Water), the first white man to see them was Alvar N. Cabeza de Vaca during 16th century, it was called then "Santa Maria falls".
There are 2 big natural parks around these falls. Each side of the river has its own beauty. This photo shows brazilian side. Iguacú falls are the most important tourist attraction in state of Paraná and one of the most importants inside Brazil and Argentina. This region is full of tourist atractions to see. The word fabulous isn't enought to define what this place is.
