Photographer's Note

Two years ago this place was crowded, so I took a picture only of the top part of this building. This time I found it calm and peaceful like you see in this photo, so I tried to make it look like an old picture. I converted to BW and crop a little around.

I bet that, looking at it, one may think it was taken in a small village. In fact, São Paulo was not more than a small village 150 years ago. What you see in this photo is a replica of the first building constructed by catholic priests in 1554 (the original was destroyed in 1954...), and that was São Paulo foundation. Seeing this calm place, you can't imagine what a mess is behind the photographer! I'll show you next picture.
