The amazing beach of Copacabana at night just after a short rain...

I could hear the great noise of the strong waves and the never ending sounds of the carioca's life.

Rio de Janeiro embodies the most fantastic mix of Nature and City I've never met anywhere else up to now.

Aqui têm uma vista da praia de Copacabana de noite, depois uma chuvinha...

Podia ouvir o fantastico barulho do mar e da cidade tambem.

Ate hoje, nunca encontrei uma mixtura da Natureza a da Cidade com tão belleza.

(Desculpe pela qualidade da tradução : estou esquçendo o meu conhecimento da lingua brasileira...)

La formidable plage mythique de Copacabana à Rio de Janeiro après une petite pluie nocturne.

Je pouvais entendre le grondement des vagues melé aux bruits de la vie nocturne des Cariocas.

Jusqu'à ce jour, c'est le plus beau site que j'ai pu voir capable de concentrer harmonieusement la ville et la Nature...

Very nice picture. This is the kind of postcard I would buy if I'd go to Rio. It has the ambient and the soul of the city. Technically is perfect with a perfect composition. Very well done.

Excellent composition. The diagonal line of the road, ending by a curve, is leading the look to the lights in the background. Perfect exposure in my opinion, wonderful colors... Did you ever consider giving night shots lessons ? Undoubtely I would put my name down for a course ;-)

Excellente composition. La diagonale formée par la route, et se terminant dans une courbe, entraine le regard jusqu'aux lumières de l'arrière-plan. Exposition parfaite à mon avis, magnifiques couleurs... N'avez-vous jamais envisagé de donner des cours sur les photos nocturnes ? Je m'y inscrirais sans aucun doute !

Beautiful evening picture where maybe the strongest effect is the illuminated green areas and the fine effect from the road. Perfect night photo.

Cara, que grande foto de Copacabana! A luz está perfeita, nem noite, nem dia, as ruas molhadas acentuando os reflexos, a exposição perfeita e esse lugar maravilhoso. Linda, como um cartão postal. My guess is that you really like Brazil, am I right?

Wow Steven, your photo is to make a postcard -sized photo! The angle you choosed is beautiful and the frame is nice too but i think if u were used a diferent shutter speed maybe the lights at street would be wonderful.

Excelente foto nocturna! As cores são fantásticas bem como a definição. A composição também está muito equilibrada e bem conseguida.

Só um pormenor sobre a tua nota. Sem querer parecer nacionalista, no Brasil fala-se português. Apesar de ter uma caracteristica regional, tal como em Angola, moçambique, e mesmo dentro de Portugal. Um pouco como os Estados Unidos em relação ao Reino-Unido. Mas o teu português é excelente.

Steven sorry i am a little bit late, but I took this one because I find it your best photo, of al your photo's, for this moment.
The colours, the depth, the sharpnes, the composition, and I know how differcult it can be, to make a picture in the dark. Well done.

I saw both of your pictures of this area. I like this one better I think. the main reason is that I think this picture is more crisp than the other one. the exposrue was well done to give a nice balance of light falling from the lamps onto the beach as well
