I like this shot very much.
The colours are beautiful and this is such an unusual motive. It's so interesting to see people of other countries in their daily life.

Yes..They seem to count money..But that is not the money which they have collected.
Every Prominent Hindu temple in South India, has an "Hundial" or a big couldron, whre people offer things to god, usually in cash. These proceedings would be used for various expenses such as the temple maintainance, community projects etc...
In many cases there is a trust or government agency which oversees this & the whole thing is done in a transparent & secure location.

Excellent subject, the skin tones are warm, and the men are well detached from the miscellany of objects around them.
these are some of the most difficult shots to bring out, when you have 3 backs facing you, taking a prominent space in a composittion, And frankly, you managed very well, even the effect of the flash on the white shirt, to be feared, is not distracting.
