When you leave the Dorrigo area and head down towards the coast the road becomes very steep and very winding.
The road passes through dense eucalpyt forest and rainforest. As you can see here the eucalypts are very straight and tall. You'll notice that there are at least 2 species here - the ones in front with light grey trunks and other farther into the forest with reddish bark under where the old bark has peeled.
There are some last waterfalls right beside the road, such as Newell Falls which passes under the road. See the WS for that one.
