Photographer's Note

This is the first of a series of photographs taken as the sun sets at Point Sublime in the Grand Canyon National Park. I had been lucky and obtained a last minute backcountry camping permit to stay overnight on Point Sublime. This photo was taken looking west from the "Point" an hour or so before official sunset.
As mentioned in my earlier postings of rainbows seen from Point Sublime, getting to Point Sublime requires a high clearance, 4x4, vehicle and the willingness to endure 18 miles (29 km) of being shaken, not stirred as, even at low speed, the dirt road is extremely rough.

Hi Mark,
Great landscape taken from a good POV, charming light on the rocks in the right side and in the sky in the opposite side, well captured, tfs.
