Photographer's Note

The beautiful beach of Pantai Batu Luang is located at the village of Kuala Penyu, approximately 125 km from the city of Kota Kinabalu. It takes around 2 hours driving from the city to get here. The view is very breathtaking especially during the low tide, where you can see the rock of ‘Batu Punggul’ is surrounded by small rocks covered in green alga. This picture i shoot during high tide when the strom is about to come.

That's a really breathtaking scene, the sunset is superb and the great rock had a truly 3D effect, it stands or so well beautiful photo.

A dramatic scenery with great texture on the rock surface. The poor tree and the sun popping up are superbly placed against the elements of water, rock and sky. Excellent picture.
