Photographer's Note

Last day of our three days trip in the south of Morocco. A long day of ... driving ! We woke up early to see the sunrise on Merzouga dunes and then we have 560 kilometres and about 10 hours to drive to go back to Marrakech and have a last night there before going back to France. No need to say we didn't have time to visit a lot of places, just made short breaks for a few photos ... and mint tea ! Anyway the light was poor that day, hot temperature and quite overcast sky, so no regret !

Our route went through the N9 road from Agdz (gate of the beautiful Dr‚a valley) to Ouarzazate. It crosses mountains on the spectacular Tizi-n-Tinififft pass. It is 1,660 metres height, and it was very welcome to get some fresh air ! When you drive on this road, the landscape is so dry you guess there is very little rain there ! It is a desert of rocks crossed by spectacular canyons. I am not very satisfied with the photos I took there, the ight was very poor and the sun was high, so it is just a informative photo to show you this area of Morocco !
