Photographer's Note
If you enter our Sculpture Park "Alter Friedhof" (Old Cemetery) you will at first see this "River of Tears" by Italian artist Villi Bossi. When he made the sculpture back in 1998 all people had high hopes for the millennium year 2000, just like sculptor Villi Bossi. He had in mind to let the tears of 2000 years history stream over two cubes of 1000 Liters volume. Unfortunately the sandstone block he got delivered to the symposium side had to little depth for the necessary 1 Meter edge length. It isn't so, that he had the foresight, that we all have to ease up now.
I did the Picture on a very dull day in early March 2012. It was much to early for the visible spring flowers. The photo was as dull as the day, but simply stretching the histogram came out with such fantastic colors.
