Photographer's Note

Islamic architecture in Cordoba, southern Spain. Cropped to remove extraneous details. This is near the old Roman bridge just before the arch and adjacent to the main square. Cordoba was ruled by the Islamic Moors from neighbouring Morocco. They were expelled by Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand in 1492 but their legacy remains to the delight of thousands of tourists.
