Photographer's Note

Following a few shots of my recent trip in Morocco (there will be many others of course !), back to my travelogue about my trip in Iceland in june 2013. We leave the Eastern Fjords area and drive to the north of Iceland. But our guide recommend us to leave the road 1 in Eglisstadir, the biggest city in the east of Iceland (only 2,000 people live there, it makes you imagine the urbanization in this area of Iceland !), to see Hengifoss waterfall in the south of Lagarfljót. We won't regret it ! These waterfalls are not the most know of Iceland, probably because they are a not on main touristic roads, but what a beauty ! On the path to Hengifoss (the waterfall you can see in the very up left on the photo), we enjoy Litlanesfoss, impressive waterfall that pass through fantastic basalt columns.
