Photographer's Note

These are sweets at a Lebanese bakery in the Melbourne suburb of Dandenong. I suspect the correct name for this type of sweet is Manfruka, although will bow to greater wisdom. They are made of pistachio, coconut, rosewater and orange syrup and were delectable.

Dandenong is a suburb of Melbourne, 30 kilometres from the Central Business District. The suburb is well-known for its diversity of races and cultures, most recently for its Sudanese, Indian, Afghani and Sri Lankan people. It goes without saying that the shops, markets and cafes are a wonderful experience.
