Photographer's Note

The Anchor Brewhouse was a small brewery on the south bank of the Thames near Tower Bridge and was bought by John Courage in 1787. The building ceased to be a brewery a long time ago and was restored and converted into luxury residential flats in 1989. It is a Grade II listed building and part of the Tower Bridge Conservation Area in Butler's Wharf.
