A dilemma that every walker faces when following a trail or public footpath in England. This particular signpost offers four different directions along the Cuckmere Valley near the town of Alfriston in East Sussex.

Which way now indeed, Brian, Splendid Pov, on this footpath scene, great spring colours and fauna,like the play of light especially on the sign post.Wonderful, England in the spring,summer, winter temperatures all in a few days. Cheers Iain.

Hi Brian

The yellow daffodils contrast superbly against the bg blue sky. Good sharpness & upward pov. The rich greenery is always welcome after a long cold winter of drab colors & white cloudy or snowy skies. Good graphism of the dark tree trunks against the horizon. Tfs!

the vertical framing and the management of the beautiful light along with the vivid colors are a caress for the eyes, wonderful place, surely you'd take any road would be a pleasure to go along...

Hello Brian,
a wonderfully framed photo, with a great upward point of view that follows the path and places the intricate patterns of the tree trunks and branches against a splendid blue sky. Lighting, clarity and colours are great, the contrasts are captivating but the real star are the lovely daffodils that illuminate the area and the picture. A beautiful image, well done and thank you!

Hello Brian,

Another fine shot with incredible depth of field where the temporary apnoea of the photographer has once again won the day! 1/30th of a second this time - it's getting longer each time.

Lovely composition with the foreground daffodils standing proudly next to the path which leads us right up to that confusing signpost. Gorgeous well saturated colours and perfect exposure. Stunning sharpness as always.

Mes yeux ne s'étaient pas immédiatement portés sur ce panneau indicateur, plus attirés par la beauté des fleurs au premier plan et de ce joli coin de nature. Jolie composition vertiacle, lumineuse et colorée.

Never mind about the confusing signs, this is lovely and tranquail shot, the much awaiting season, spring is here again! This wonderful shot is undeniably a refreshing scene that evokes a special mood of new season. Touches of bright vivid colors lift this image to live, it's nicely framed and contrast stunningly against blue sky, wonderful detail offered. Exposure, colours and sharpness are all excellent.
