Photographer's Note

Today, I came back to the Seine river to have a look at the color enlightements made by the City as a candidate for the Olympic games. I made few shots then went to the Concorde place to have a look at the fountains.

Quite soon I located a nice moon light. I had to struggle to put my mini-tripod on the fountain but the angle was not so nice so I tried something different and leaned it against a small ornament. I made my setup in a hurry and saw that the moon was already fanishing in the clouds...

I made few tests, taking care that the camera wouldn't fall because of the unstable position of my tripod. This one was made with flash and 20 sec. exposure.

That's not the first time I come here for few shots but when I went back home I was glad to see the rendition of the fountain textures compared to the previous ones I could do like this close up or that large version. I feel the quality of the light was better captured this time, what do you think ?

No Cropping. Converted from Raw, levels and tones adjusted. USM applied.
