Photographer's Note

(Original file in RAW format)

Here we are at "Chouette à voir" (it is a pun: chouette means owl and also nice... à voir=to see). It is an educational site of the "UQROP" (French abbreviation for Quebecer Union for rehabilitation of birds of prey).

It serves UQROP's two missions : to rehabilitate injured raptors and educate the public about them.
The site plays an important part in the rehabilitation process by housing raptors in the several aviaries found on the grounds. A rehabilitation complex made up of several aviaries enables patients to recover and to exercise their flight.

This is a beautiful place to visit. In the summer, two daily shows involving live raptors are presented – lot of fun for adults and children ;-)

Hope you enjoy it.
