Pantin Warehouse, a photo from Ile-de-France, North

Photographer's Note

The warehouses of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris (CCIP) settled on the banks of the canal in 1929 after the Ourcq canal expansion to create the port of Pantin. The site consisted of two monumental warehouses located either sides of the canal. Those on the left bank were destroyed by fire in June 1995.
The remaining one on the right bank as been abandoned and is now the theatre of many underground activities, including brilliant street piece of arts!

Bienvenue sur TE.
Belle image de la friche de la "Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris"
Bon cadrage serré, peut-être l'image est-elle un peu sombre ?
Nous sommes quelques-uns à nous intéresser à l'Art de la Rue, en particulier Morac, dont tu peux visiter la galerie. Il a d'ailleurs déjà photographié ce batiment : Les Couleurs du béton , ainsi que moi même: The warehouses of Pantin

Hello Romain,
Welcome with this photo well showing the rhythm of balconies and windows in their derelect state and with the colour patches of graffiti.
The photo to seems somewhat too dark with the shadows almost blackened. Lighten up a bit ?

Hi Romain,
A strong graphical effect, the strong effect of the colours shouting out of the grey edifice. I actually like the slightly darker light, very natural and almost film like. I enjoy repetetive patterns, a kind of constructivism, which I can see from your love of the urban environment.
