Photographer's Note
A shot of the New York skyline, as seen from a nice viewpoint underneeath the Brooklyn Bridge. This park where I took the image is rather famous, you will see it in a lot of movies filmed in NYC because it offers you a great view at the city skyline. Here I was going for a black and white here because I thought it would somehow match the atmosphere better than a colored version, if I´m not too lazy, I will upload the colored version in a WS as well, so you can decide for yourself :-)
This shot is one of my personal favorites because I associate a lot of great memories of a great trip with this image. Watching the lights of the city turn on was definetly one of the highlights!
And yes, first post after a long time without TE, can you somehow forgive me? :P

WELCOME BACK!!! =)
Simply stunning Mark! A fantastic, top quality photo with wonderful details like the flag on the bridge, that bright waterfall and the boat passing under. I love it!
Looking forward to seeing more soon! :)

hallo Mark(s)

Hi Mark,
A classic point of view that you've managed to photographed skilfully. The B&W version offers a timeless quality and the boat brings a nice visual complement.
Impeccable work!

Yeah a long long time. These are the kind of results that keep the photographer and the amateur in the business, in the hobby.
Technically perfect, good option not to minimize the aperture any further.
Photographs are but to keep a memory, just a memory. have a good sunday my friend and lets hope you stay around for a while :)

Hi Mark, welcome back and...nice to meet you! What a way to announce your return. As I said before, the B&W for this type of nocturnal is very brave but also highly affective and ebautiful. The water is like a piece of silk and I love the star formations along the bridge, which in itself is a fantastic piece of architecture. Wonderful job, and I hope to see many more from you. Warm regards from a humid Sydney, Lisa
