Photographer's Note

Forewarning of what will certainly happen if the USA keep on not signing the Kyoto protocol (well, it might happen even if they do, but the refusal of the Bush administration to do so won't help to solve the troubles to come): a tropical climate is bound to settle over Europe, while the desert will widen in Africa.
Whole populations of wild animals will migrate up north, invading new territories. As bears in Canada and reindeers in Scandinavia trash houses now, looking for food in winter, giraffes will sneak into buildings, in the heart of Paris, to gulp flowers right from the vase.
Cat and dog catchers will have to adapt their tools and methods to capture species they never dreamed to see in the flesh, without bars as when they were kids and spent the afternoon in the zoo, nostalgic of Johnny Weissmuller's "safe" Tarzan flicks... And I'm not showing you the more serious damage caused by rhinos and elephants!
Environmentalists will say "we told you so, but no one cared to listen"... but what else could be done about it, then?

The future is in our hands. Now!
So, what should we all decide to do about it?

PS You can trust me, this image is real!
Including the overexposed parts, but this is the best I could manage without giving the impression that this shot had been taken in a - nearly - dark room...
The original 800 ISO noise has just been reduced with Neat Image - a software I seldom use, if ever.
