Photographer's Note

The landscape

A photograph of one of the oldest churches in Paris, "Saint Germain l'Auxerois". Its history dates from the Merovingian era. From this time, nothing remains.

Subsequently, the church will be repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt and several successive adjustments will be made to the current vision.

Located near the "Louvre", which was in the past the housing for the artists, it is nicknamed "the parish of artists".

The photograph

The shooting was carried out on a beautiful sunny summer day. The camera was set mode aperture priority. The opening is set at f / 8. With a focal length of 18 mm and a sensitivity equivalent to ISO-200, speed is 1 / 500.
