Photographer's Note

Jabal al-Qal'a or Citadel Hill is a historic area downtown Amman, Jordan. It has been inhabited since the Neolithic period, making it among the world's oldest continuously inhabited places. A church on top of this hill was built in 300AD by the Byzantines, and is now restored. The inside of the dome, looking straight up, shows this wooden frame.
