Photographer's Note
...again remembering those days in 1994...
...also remembering what is going on today in the Central Africa...no notices but still a genocide on...
This is a photoscan from the Kibumba refugee field.

Welcome back with your outstanding photos, which show that the world is not as beautiful as our landscapes and monuments. I truly believe that you are doing a great work, showing the real people of many parts of forgotten continent where the financial crisis has been part of the people’s life for many centuries, not a few months.

First I read your intro, then a "walked" trough your gallery, yes it is shocking to see this desperation and the world simply looks on. Your photographs are painful documents of life. Seeing this woman with her big eyes and her small baby, incredible, it is other side of the coin, despair, not knowing where to go next. No food no future no nothing. Thanks for sharing ... you have seen a lot of pain and poverty.Neither in India nor China the poverty is so bad.
Warm regards
Urs
