Photographer's Note

Shi Shi beach, in my opinion, is the crown-jewel beach in my home state of Washington. It is located in the very northwest corner within the Olympic National Park. The seastacks, known as Point of Arches, rise almost magically out of the sea. I love wandering through and around them at low tide, exploring - it's like being on another planet. This is a beach that can only be reached by a 3 mile hike. The best way to experience it is by setting up camp and staying a while.

The specialness of this place can only be experienced, but I'll probably never give up trying to capture it in my photos.
