Photographer's Note

When you arrive by train to the beautiful city of Vercelli the first building you see leaving the station is already its most famous, the Basilica di Sant'Andrea, erected by Cardinal Guala Bicchieri in 1219 and finished in 1227, together with the monastery it is one of the most beautiful and best preserved early Cistercian-Gothic monuments in Italy. It is really a merge between Romanesque and Gothic style. I will show some more pic in the next days.
