My first photo on TrekEarth!
This one was taken on a drive to Lavasa - but you'll see this greenery anywhere in the western ghats where ric cultivation happens. The rice crop has a very silky and shining green colour that seems to create a magical effect. I always feel like rolling over in the field - but then of course its all filled with the rain water.
