Photographer's Note

I really love where I live. Every day there is something new to see or something beautiful to admire.

On the way home from work earlier this evening I could see the sun setting, it was distracting me from concentrating on the road. As I got near to home the colours got more and more vibrant so I dashed up onto the fells and set up my tripod.

The sun is setting behind the estuary of the River Lune and the city of Lancaster. In front of me are the myriad of dry stone walls breaking up the fells for sheep to graze on, leading the eye down to the sea.
