In fact this image was took in the end of spring, when the rains are more frequent and humidity is higher. When I was a kid the humidity in the ground and in the air lasted for much more time, nowadays it is very brief.
Here we can see the area in front my job when a lower cloud involved the city in the middle of afternoon.
When I was a little boy and streets of my town weren't paved, I and friends used to slide in the red mud of this area. Our volcanic soil is very slippery and sticky and the workers of the stores and bar around had fun watching people falling in the ground crossing this area when there was mud.
This area was paved around 1970's and the rounded garden created around 2000.

Essa foto foi de fato tirada no final da primavera, quando as chuvas começam a ficar mais frequentes. Antigamente a umidade das chuvas permanecia no solo e no ar por mais tempo, agora ela desaparece rapidamente.
Vemos aqui a área diante do meu trabalho numa tarde chuvosa, quando uma nuvem desceu e encobriu a paisagem.
Quando eu era criança as ruas não eram pavimentadas e eu e alguns amigos costumávamos deslizar no barro nessa área já que o barro vulcânico é muito grudento e escorregadio. Os funcionários das lojas e bares ao redor costumavam se divertir com as pessoas que caiam ao chão no barro naqueles dias.
Essa área foi pavimentada nos anos 70 e o redondo foi criado ao redor do ano 2000.
