indeed we can recall something of Rio's "favelas" here although I think they weren't as colorful as those ones, and the houses looked a lot more degraded and damaged than those.
As for the rest, same tiny streets making the police's job a lot difficult to get in there and with lot's of corners to hide out any sorts of things or persons.
Curious the fact that in such a poor zone we find out at least 12 satellite antennas, reminds me some of the poorest Lisbon's neighborhoods where we find out last Mercedes or BMW's models...
