Photographer's Note
As I was just trying to convince a friend to visit La Tortuga, because there is a group going there on the week of May 26, I started looking at the shots I made there almost a year ago. This place is so phantastic and the colors of the water so amazing, that I couldn't resist including another picture.
This one was taken in Tortuguillo Sur and shows the yacht we used to get there. This small island has no utilities; we were the only people there. The water has stunning colors (green - turquoise close to the shore and deep blue far away, at some points; almost completely transparent and colorless at other points), is relatively warm. The sun is very strong, so be sure to bring an umbrella and sun protector to protect yourself.
I called the shot sigh, because that's what I made when I saw this paradise. Sharpened and resized.

nice colors but i think a shot that looked down more so you could see the transparency of the water would better convey what you describe in your note.

Hola Yvonne,
Y quien será ese amigo? ;-)
Tentadora la propuesta que refuerzas con esta foto.
A pesar del ligero ruido, los colores son fabulosos.
Me gusta la composición donde pusiste el yate justo en el centro de interés.
Felicitaciones y gracias por enseñarnos la foto.
Saludos,
JM

Hello Yvonne,
I also like these pictures of tropical waters so different than the ones we see elsewhere. Good idea to include a motorboat, ideally it would be shown laterally, but here, in order to make it slightly bigger I made a WS,see if you like it.
I wish you a great week-end - Izzet

This is a beautiful shot, Yvonne, with great colors of the Caribbean, well deserving a big sigh! Congratulations, Daniel

Hi Yvonne
Very nice shot here. Great perspective. The white line there crossing the half of the picture divides the picture so well. Well done

Hi, Yvonne.
A fitting title for such an image, very minimalistic and yet very appealing. I like the "layered" colors and the perfectly placed boat.
Thanks for your comments on my last post.

Hi Yvonne!
do you want to win the prix of the most beautiful sea color??
I already tried that match posting some pics from Thailand isles.
Now let me dream this place and tell me how I can go there!!
It is a dream... but it can come true.

Hi Yvonne, always a pleasure to take my bath in hot sea by watching your venezuelian pictures :))) How i'd love to be there at the moment :) "La tortuga", the name is appealing !
Simple composition, its power resides in different layers of blue.
Good one
