Photographer's Note

Another shot I took in La Tortuga, specifically in Tortuguillo Sur, one of 4 islets forming the archipel of La Tortuga in the Venezuelan Caribbean.

Our group was the only one visiting this small islet when we went there. It was just amazing: the beauty, the peace, the isolation, the intense colors of the nature. I like the color contrast here between the kajaks and the marvellous turquoise water in the front.

Unfortunately, we could only stay for a while, because the sun was very sharp and there were no shadows anywhere. Be sure to bring a strong sunblock, a hat or cap and a T-shirt to protect yourself, especially if you have sensitive skin, but don't miss visiting this amazing place.

I sharpened a bit, increased gamma and exposure (to get rid of the haziness of the picture. I cropped a bit of teh bottom, because there were some towels there. I did not change colors. I wish I could have added a white frame.
