Faro de Punta Brava o Punta Carretas
Inauguracion 1ro de octubre de 1876, (Ley de 13 de julio de 1875)
Altura 21 metros sobre el nivel del mar
Luz (original) blanca fija, visible a 10 millas con tiempo claro.
Desde el año 1948 cada 10 segundos se intercalan un destello rojo para diferenciarlo de otros faros y boyas. Sigue siendo de mucha importancia para la navegación de pesqueros que se dirigen al Banco Inglés, o al Puerto del Buceo, o a la entrada del Río Santa Lucía. En 1962 fue enlazado a la red eléctrica.

Height: 21 meters above sea level
Light (originally) fixed white, visible 10 miles in clear weather.
Since 1948 every 10 seconds interspersed red flashes to differentiate it from other lighthouses and buoys. It remains very important for navigation of fishing boats that go to the English's sandbank, or the Buceo Harbor, or at the entrance of the Santa Lucia River. In 1962 it was linked to the electricity network.
