Photographer's Note

Punta Ballena is a rocky bluff that comes from the Sierra de la Ballena and continues into the Rio de la Plata for a few hundred meters. It is the natural limit between Maldonado Bay and Portezuelo Bay. We will visit its highest point, crossed by a panoramic route. From there we will be able to see an overwhelming sight, which give us Piriapolis' hills on the West and a complete view of the Peninsula on the East. This place is the only one where the two islands, Gorriti and Lobos, can be appreciated at the same time.
