Photographer's Note

on Sunday everybody needs some calm and tranquility, and I hope this view from the hills of Isla Taquile overlooking Lago Titicaca will help to find that ("hills" is only right if you measure how high we were from the surface of the lake, which itself is 3,811 m (12,500 ft) above sea level).

it was just an hour before we had to leave the Island of Taquile and go back to Puno, and on the next day travel from Puno to Lima for the last day of our Peru trip. I guess I was feeling quite melancholic, and somehow the two tiny boats against the vast expanse of the lake and textures of the water fit my mood.

RAW, ISO 200, 200mm focal lenght, spot metering.
