Photographer's Note

Latest Peruvian elections results:
Ollanta Humala (Chavezlike nationalist) 30.86%
Alan Garcia (Former catastrophic president)24.69%
Lourdes Flores (Conservative candidate) 23.61%

There are still about 20% of the votes left to be counted. It is clear that Humala has won the first round, but it lis less clear who gets second place.
I am really crossing my fingers, as a second round between a potential chavezlike thug (he told an argentinian newspaper that if Lourdes won, the "people" would kick her out within a year) and a president who totally ruined the country in his 5 year goverment (Garcia 1985-1990) I dont know for which one I would vote. And to think that I was considereing going back to live there in the future...

This is a view of the side of the presidential palace with a tank. Of course a tank is needed, just in case anyone gets any ideas....
